Saqqara, Old Kingdom, 5th-6th Dynasty, circa 2494-2181 B.C.
Carved in shallow relief, from a scene in the desert, depicting two ibexes looking to their right, two others above, one couchant the other running, three lotus flowers in the corner, with some red, yellow and white polychromy remaining, 13in x 12½in (33cm x 32cm)
