Circa 1st Century B.C./A.D.
Of hemispherical form, the decoration on the interior in repoussé and enhanced with incision, the upper register depicting a variety of animals including boars, vultures, camels, ibexes and mythological creatures with a continuous incised band below the rim, the central raised mesomphalos decorated with incised semicircles and surrounded by tongues, the rim with small sections of incised text, 5½in (14cm) diam
