This rare image depicts the short-lived Armenian hotel that stood on the shores of Therapia (Tarabya) Bay near Istanbul. The luxury hotel, built circa 1919, was destroyed by fire along with its neighbouring houses in 1954. It later became the site of the Buyuk Tarabaya Hotel.
