A late 17th/early 18th century Brussels historical tapestry
woven in wool and silk, depicting an atrium with views of Rome and surrounding countryside beyond, having a group of elders and a dog looking on as two central figures who are holding a large wood block prepare to ram a highly decorative door marked with the letters 'SPQR', surrounded by a plain brown narrow border
458cm by 272cm, some restoration.
