A Portuguese 18th century brass-mounted carved rosewood and ebonised single tester bed and canopy
the spreading canopy with white silk cover and under-hanging lambrequins, each angle with a scrolling acanthus carving, on turned bulbous supports with brass rings, the headboard surmounted by a carved palmette flanked by scrolling floral branches and foliage, on cabriole legs joined by rectangular stretchers, 120cm wide, 208cm long, 244cm high (47" wide, 81.5" long, 96" high).
