A Flemish late 17th century ivory inlaid tortoiseshell, ebony and ebonised secrétaire-bureau de dame
the hinged rectangular top inset with a leather writing-surface, the small drop-front opening to reveal four drawers, above a knee-hole with cupboard door, flanked to each side by two short drawers, on spirally turned column supports, each joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher, on bun feet, the underside with old paper Parsons & Hart/ Andover, depository label inscribed 'Hibbert', 89.5cm wide, 54cm deep, 89cm high (35" wide, 21" deep, 35" high).
