A French mid-19th century Renaissance style gilt bronze mounted ebony jewellery casket
the mounts possibly by Emmanuel Frémiet
the lower four corners with reclining angels on scrolls with floral garlands, surmounted by a spreading hinged lid centred by a cartouche depicting a scene with dancing figures and flanked by angels playing horns, with a reclining troubadour figure to each corner, 37cm wide, 26cm deep, 16cm high (14.5" wide, 10" deep, 6" high).
