after the model of the commode "de Fontainebleau" by Riesener
the shaped marble top, above three frieze drawers with ribbon-tied entrelacs and palmettes frieze, above two long drawers inlaid with a treillis and sunflower marquetry, each side with a similar panel, the breafront centred by a still life depicting a flowers and fruits basket and two urns, on scrolling acanthus cast feet and rectangular terminals, the mounts inscribed JT to the back, 167.5cm wide, 63cm deep, 92.5cm high (65.5in wide, 24.5in deep, 36in high).
