A French late 19th century Régence style ormolu-mounted green-ground vernis Martin chinoiserie bureau plat
the top with a gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface within a stepped surround, above three frieze drawers, on cabriole legs and acanthus and paw cast sabots, decorated overall with chinoiserie scenes in landscapes, the mounts inscribed AM to the back, 180cm wide, 94cm deep, 76.5cm high (70.5" wide, 37" deep, 30" high).
