A French late 19th century Louis XV style ormolu-mounted kingwood bombé commode
by J. Schamber
the serpentine Brèche d'Alep marble top, above six short gilt tooled leather fronted drawers, each with scroll foliate handles, the angles with foliate pierced foliate clasps, the bombé sides with quarter veneer panels on cabriole legs and scrolling foliate sabots., 100cm wide, 51cm deep, 95.5cm high (39" wide, 20" deep, 37.5" high).
