A Victorian silver-gilt mounted Stourbridge "rock-crystal" glass claret jug

Oval section with panelled sides, the collar embossed with leafy sprays, each side initialled within an escutcheon cartouche with pierced apron below, the hinged domed cover similarly engraved and having a wrythen finial, leaf-capped scroll handle edged with graduated acanthus leaves, the glass body with etched floral decoration, upper body with applied card-cut motif, with pierced silver foliate scroll girdle, raised on a circular foot with demi-oval and floral motif, height 34cm.
