An Edwardian hand-wrought silver rose/punch bowl

The bowl of circular form resting in a fixed frame on four large C-scroll feet, the upper bellied section chased and embossed with flowering tendrils and a fruiting branches, probably a Medlar, all on a spot-hammered ground, height 23.5cm, diameter 34.cm, weight 72oz.

  • It is interesting to see the strong influence of Gilbert Marks' craftsmanship and design in the present lot. Please see the biographical note on Marks in the previous lot.
