An early 18th century German silver-gilt kiddush cup

Bowl of tapering octagonal form and each panel embossed with alternate panels of rococo scroll/acanthus leaves and flowers, and engraved around the rim with a Hebrew inscription, raised on an inverted knop stem and domed foot chased with frosted leaves, height 12.2cm, weight 3.6oz.
