A George III silver and glass-mounted six bottle cruet stand and six spice labels
By Paul Storr, the labels by Storer & Elliot, all London 1810
The stand of oval form with integral handles to base and the separate wire-wrok frame with central handle and scroll grip, base and frame applied with gadroon borders interspersed with leaf-edged shell scrolls, raised on four acanthus leaf bracket feet, centre engraved with a crest beneath a coronet, the six baluster bottles with embossed silver tops and each having a spice label of rectangular form with shell and gadroon border engraved/stamped with the following titles:- "CHILLI VINR", "HARVET", "KYAN", "ANCHOVY", KETCHUP" and "SOY", length 29cm, weight of silver 38oz.
