A George III mahogany pierced fretwork folding firescreen
in the Chinese Chippendale taste
The rectangular glazed frames with pierced pagoda tops inset with Chinese painted silk panels of exotic birds, the reverse with later silk painted with floral sprigs; above pierced fret panels, on ring turned legs, joined by stretchers, each section 108cm high, 40cm wide, (42.5" high, 15.5" wide).
