The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by Madame Claudine Dyf and is registered in the E-catalogue of Dyf's work under no.4224.
The present work shows les Canoubiers beach near St. Tropez and was painted during the winter of 1975 when Dyf and his wife, Claudine, spent a month in a rented apartment overlooking the harbour.
