A complete collection of all 27 numbers of the important pre-World War II literary journal, together with an offprint of Gertrude Stein's piece "An Elucidation," and an additional copy of numbers 1 (second edition) and 24. In addition to contributions from many of the great writers and artists of the day, Transition also included a serial printing of Part One, three chapters of Part Two, and all of Part Three from Finnegans Wake, listed as A Work in Progress.
