RARE SECOND EDITION, WITH ADDITIONAL QUATRAINS, one of only 500 copies printed. The second edition contains 110 quatrains whereas the 1859 first edition contained only 75. "Its importance from the collector's standpoint is but little less than that of the princeps. From a literary point of view it is quite the equal of the First edition" (Mosher, Rubaiyat, 1902, p 10).
