Eliot thanks a friend for his help while visiting Cambridge: "We promised Mrs. Green, to whom we had the pleasure of being introduced by you under the Cambridge sunshine, that we would send her the address of a certain maker of Feetwarmers, she & I sympathizing in the experience of cold feet... I thank you sincerely for the addition you caused to my pleasant memories of Cambridge ..."
