VAN WARWIJCK, WYBRANT. Historiale Beschryvinghe, Inhoudende een waerachtich verhael vande reyse ghedaen met acht Schepen van Amsterdam, etc., etc. Amsterdam: Michiel Colijn, 1619.
Oblong 8vo (237 x 177 mm). Title + 64 numbered leaves. Woodcut vignette on title page and 24 engraved inlaid plates. Modern quarter morocco and marbled boards, spine lettered in gilt. Short tears to fore-edges occasionally touching text or image, minor loss to a few blank margins, old dampstain to lower margin of a several leaves, margins dust-soiled, ff5 & 8 re-attached to stub, repairs to ff57-59.

Scarce early and profusely illustrated edition of Van Neck's narrative of the second Dutch expedition to Indonesia of 1598-99, which he led. Only one copy appears in auction records going back fifty years.
