Illuminated portrait of a halo-ed figure with left hand resting on a globe, on clipped piece of vellum, 47 x 98 mm, [Northern Italy, late 15th/early 16th century], showing portion of trompe-l'oeil floral border on gold ground, light rubbing.

Attributed to Antonio da Villafora, a Paduan illuminator active between 1469 and 1511, by Dr Anne-Marie Eze.
