Full crushed levant morocco by Riviere, raised bands, gilt titles and floral devices in spine panels, elaborate gilt interlaced design with floral wreath centerpiece to covers, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, morocco pull-off case. Leaves toned, a few tiny tears to edges.

FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST HISTORY OF NEW YORK, A PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED on the title page, "Ex Libris Samuel Jones a Gulielmo Smith donatis. 1758."
