Photograph Signed ("Franklin Delano Roosevelt") and Inscribed, 18 x 23 inch silver print portrait by Harris Ewing with photographer's signature at lower right corner, inscribed at center left in white ink "To the Town Criers of Rhode Island," very fine, framed with engraved plate, "Presented to the Town Criers of Rhode Island by Fellow Crier Senator Theodore Francis Green / September 9, 1942."

Theodore Francis Green [1867-1961] served as a Senator from Rhode Island from 1937 to 1961. A stalwart Democrat, he procured this handsome signed portrait of FDR for a hometown institution.
