Frontispiece portrait and 8 engraved maps and plans bound at rear, hand-colored in outline and with colored highlights, all but one folding. Half-morocco over marbled boards by Bradstreet, raised bands, gilt in compartments, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Light spotting to frontis and scattered throughout, faint offsetting to half-titles, separation to several folds of maps, repairs to folds of large maps at verso, minor offsetting.
FIRST EDITION, complete with the rare set of maps and plans, and with the frontispiece portrait of Andrew Jackson which was not issued with every copy.
