Large engraved folding map, 668 x 490 (plate), 741 x 554 (sheet), hand-colored in outline, large decorative cartouche at top center, distance charts in lower right margin, "Sketch of the remaining Part of Ohio R. &c." at left, custom cloth folder and morocco backed slipcase, map toned, a few tiny tears at center folds, a few small repairs to verso, verso reinforced at center.

First state of Thomas Jeffreys's edition of Evans's map, one of the most influential American maps of the 18th century.
