Folio. Illustrations and 8 tipped-in color plates after Dmitriev-Kavkazskiy and Rundaltsev. Original decorative cloth stamped in gilt, black white and orange. Toned, brief dampstain to final few leaves, light shelfwear and a few stray marks.
Provenance: A. Notthafft (bookplate designed by Ivan Bibilin dated 1912).

FIRST EDITION of this illustrated work covering an exhibition held at the St. Petersburg Admiralty during the summer 1915. On display were arms, armours, equipment, and also printed material and communication systems. Illustrations include portraits of Nicholas II and Grand Duke Nikolay Nikolaevich, and a variety of flags, helmets and uniforms.
