4to (356 x 251 mm). With hand-colored additional title and 72 hand-colored lithographed plates. Text in English and French. Period full burgundy straight-grained morocco and stamped in blind, spine fully gilt in compartments with raised bands, all edges gilt. Occasional minor spotting or toning, light offsetting to about 5 plates, rebacked with original spine laid down, hinges repaired, some wear and staining to endpapers, light rubbing.
Provenance: Herbert Brenon (bookplate).

Unusual in this attractive burgundy morocco gilt binding. Abbey Travel 246; Colas 704.
