4to (330 x 237 mm). 136 pp. With 65 engraved plates. Period quarter morocco over cloth, gilt-stamped. Title page with mild foxing and a closed marginal tear, one plate with light offsetting from text, f.f.e.p. excised, hinges cracked, light wear to binding.
RARE ACCOUNT OF THE WEDDING OF THE FIRST ROMANOV RULER, COMPLETE WITH ALL ILLUSTRATIONS. Copies with all 65 plates are "extremely rare" most having only 63 (Ostroglazov 218). This work was edited by Beketov from a manuscript found in the archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, formerly belonging to the paleographer A.F. Malinovskii.
