BALLET.
1. Collection of 33 early 20th century photographic postcards of important Russian dancers: Tamara Karsavina (4; one duplicate); Anna Pavlova and Michel Fokine; Yekaterina Geltzer; Mathilde Kschessinska, Olga Preobrajenska and others. Among Russia's greatest exports have long been her dancers. The early 20th century was dominated by Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes that featured such stars of the dance as Karsavina, Pavlova and Fokine.
2. DUNCAN, ISADORA 1877-1927. 2 photographic postcards of the legendary American inventor of modern dance. Duncan embraced the Russian Revolution, moved to Moscow in 1922, was quickly disillusioned and left two years later.
