Late Joseon dynasty, 19th century
Finished with a flared rim to the tall, spreading neck and painted around the compressed pear-shaped body with the shipjangsaeng theme of the sun, clouds, pine tree, fungus and bamboo separating a dragon in clouds, a pair of deer and waves from a pair of cranes and a pair of tortoises, the celadon-tinged glaze covering all surfaces except the deeply recessed base.
