Two spinach jade archaistic vessels
The first a square-sectioned lidded jar incised in shallow relief with taotie masks on its curving walls resolving to a waisted base supported by four ruyi shaped feet, the inset neck displaying elaborate strap handles with loose rings and the fitted lid topped with a small square finial; the second a pouring vessel of rectangular section supported on four beast-hoof legs, the sides carved in shallow relief with archaistic kui and chi dragons, the spout everted over an animal-headed loop with loose ring and the opposing strap handle surmounted by a dragon head.
