An original F.W. Murnau story treatment
Original 15-page typed story treatment in English titled "Truria," by famed director F. W. Murnau and R.J. Flaherty, copied into the MGM script department on January 19, 1934. Murnau, most often remembered for his 1922 film, Nosferatu, travelled to the South Pacific with Flaherty to film Tabu (1931), but tragically died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident before the film's premiere. This story treatment bears a great resemblance to Tabu and is likely an earlier version of the treatment.
