The Philadelphia Story
MGM, 1940, one-sheet, style C. Framed. A good example of the poster for this classic comedy starring Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and James Stewart. Hepburn experienced a career slump in the late 1930s, but acquired the rights to this script after starring in the Broadway stage version. The film was one of that studio's biggest successes of 1940 and revitalized Hepburn's film career.
