Serial no. 5061, 12 gauge. 30 inch barrels with single bead, concave rib marked William Evans from Purdeys 63 Pall Mall St. James London. London Nitro Proof. Ejectors. Doll's head extension. Automatic safety with gold SAFE. Boxlock action with fine scroll engraving. Blued and engraved triggerguard. Checkered walnut fore-end with Anson release. Checkered straight grip walnut stock with black buttplate.
Condition: Fine as redone. Barrels with reblued finish showing wear to markings and some light pitting. Bright bores. Action cleaned to grey metal and showing some minor pitting. Fore-end refinished. Replaced buttstock.
