A boxed 9x74mm Merkel Model 140-1 boxlock double rifle
Serial no. 551253, 9x74mm. 23 1/2 inch blued barrels; broad, matte rib with raised fore-sight and open rear sight. Casehardened and scroll-engraved scalloped boxlock action. Blued triggerguard. Oil-finished walnut fore-end and pistolgrip stock. Maker's buttplate. Sling swivels.
Condition: Excellent and showing little use. Box with some tears.
