A lot of three 19th century powder horns
Comprising: 1) 8 1/2 inch example of flattened form with finely turned horn spout and flat wooden plug secured by iron pins, the body with later incised decoration; one side with sailors in a long boat and the inscription Com:Perry:On:Lake:Erie:, the reverse with Jim:Allen;.Buffalo:1813:/Primeing (sic)/Horn/For:His:Old:/Flintlock:. 2) 9 inch cow horn example with turned horn spout above an iron staple, red-painted domed plug and with body incised JJB. 3) Plain 11 inch example with domed plug and simple raised panel at spout.
Condition: All very good and showing some wear and light marks.
