A Colt Model 1877 Thunderer double action revolver with period double loop rig
Serial no. 124809 for 1901, .41 caliber. 4 1/2 inch barrel with ejector. Blued and casehardened finish. Checkered hard rubber rampant Colt grips. Brown leather double loop holster and cartridge belt tooled with borders. With Colt factory letter detailing shipment to A.F. Shapleigh Hardware Company, St. Louis, Missouri in April of 1901.
Condition: Very good. Barrel with 80-90% blue showing holster wear. Balance with 40-50% blue. Frame with slight traces of casehardening. Excellent action. Grips showing fading and light wear.
