southern Java, 19th century
Comprising: 1) 14 1/2 inch eight curve pamor blade; silver mendak with beaded rim; plena hilt carved with scrollwork panels; scabbard with wranka ladrang and floral engraved German silver pendok bunton cover. 2) 15 inch nine curve pamor blade; beaded silver mendak; plena hilt with scrollwork panels; scabbard with wranka gayamon and plain German silver pendok bunton cover.
Condition: Both blades showing wear and light pitting. Hilts and scabbards with scattered light marks, 2) wrangka detached and showing some small chips.
