A large scale model of a 17th century field gun
The 18 1/2 inch patinated bronze tube molded with bands of florals, a panel with the date 1657 and, at the breech, with an armourial crest. Well-made wood and black painted iron field carriage in 17th century style. Together with framed page from a periodical with article about Melvin Belli.
Condition: Tube with scattered marks and missing one of the dolphins. Carriage with scatered marks, losses to finish and light rust to iron mounts and missing the tube retaining loops.

Length overall: 34 inches.
