Movement No.12874, circa 1865
Nickel finished movement jeweled through the third wheel, counterpoised straight line escapement, uncut bimetallic balance with flat spring, key wound and set, gold cuvette inscribed "Manufactured for S. P. Hamilton, Savannah, Ga.", signed white enamel dial with roman chapters, gilt hands with pierced blued tips, subsidiary seconds, engine turned American case engraved on each lid with a basket of flowers, accompanied by a gold filled chain. 50mm
