A filigree spiderweb of 18 karat solid white gold, studded with brilliant-cut diamonds, encases the translucent precious resin barrel. A spider studded with black diamonds adorns the clip. In some cultures the spider is a symbol of good fortune, and, in honor of the lucky spider, whose figure 8 shaped body symbolizes infinity, Montblanc produced only 8 of these exceptional pens.
