An imposing pair of Sèvres style earthenware gilt bronze mounted covered urns

Each surmounted by a later domed cover, of ovoid form, flanked by laurel wrapped handles with mask terminals, centered by a maiden in a diaphanous wrap accompanied by putti, signed Maxayt(?), the reverse decorated with a panel of putti, against a cobalt ground, on circular foot and square base with inswept corners.
