A good quality French gilt bronze and champlevé jardinière on stand
attributed to F. Barbedienne foundry, Paris
fourth quarter 19th century
The rectangular jardinière with canted angles and flanked by pierced scroll handles above lion masks decorated with panels of flora and fauna, the stand with alabaster top, supported by four winged putti emanating from a central turned urn, on outswept supports ending in claw feet.
