Auction Notices

  • Provenance: Created in the 1950s, this screen was commissioned by the famed Santa Fe photographer Tyler Dingee (1906 – 1961) and purchased directly from the artist. A friend of Popovi and many of the Cinco Pintores, one of Dingee's photographs was used for the Palace of the Governors' Commemorative Stamp issued in 1960. Tyler Dingee died tragically, struck by lightning while fishing with the painter Will Schuster (who survived.)
