Included are: 1938 Lincoln cent, hazy reddish-orange color with lime-green accents; 1938 Jefferson nickel, silver-gray patina with deeper argent color at the borders; 1938 Mercury dime, somewhat mottled silver and russet colors; 1938 Washington quarter, deep reddish-gold tinting appears to drift toward the borders; and a 1938 Walking Liberty half dollar, similar in appearance to the quarter with splashes of deep reddish-gold and argent-gray color. Only 8,045 proof sets were struck for collectors in 1938.
