1936 Proof Set
Included are: 1936 Lincoln cent, Type Two - (Brilliant), fully brilliant in finish with dominant medium-orange color, a few wisps of pale haziness; 1936 Buffalo nickel, Type Two -(Brilliant), a razor sharp example adorned with light, mottled, golden-silver and powder-blue iridescence; 1936 Mercury dime, brilliant in finish with a few scattered swirls and blushes of pale-silver tinting; 1936 Washington quarter, with the lightest golden iridescence flashing into view at certain angles; and a 1936 Walking Liberty half dollar, a fully impressed beauty with delicate mottled iridescence.
The first of the modern U.S. Mint proof sets, the 1936 is also a key set with the original distribution limited to no more than 3,837 sets - the mintage of the proof 1936 Washington quarter.
