Light rub has not resulted in a complete loss of luster and, in fact, the surfaces retain ample evidence of a frosty mint finish. The color is a medium-intensity, orange-gold shade that accents a boldly rendered strike. There are a few minor abrasions: a couple to the left of the date, a rim mark on the reverse at 11 o'clock. This coin would fit nicely into a high-grade type set of federal gold. (PCGS 8965) About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated
