Lustrous surfaces sparkle under a light coating of soft olive-golden patina. The strike is well above average for the issue showing sharp definition on Liberty's head, her thumb, and most of the eagle's feathers. Despite a generous mintage of 1,165,000 pieces, comparatively few were set aside at the time of issue. A wonderful example for the specialist. (PCGS 6578) Brilliant Uncirculated
