1823 50C MS62 PCGS
O-103, R.2. Star 7 is high and close to cap, indented center dot; AM separated, A is higher, fine vertical die polishing lines show between the left wing and head of eagle. Tendrils of gray-golden tint have appeared on both sides of this otherwise silver-gray colored representative of the Overton-103. Boldly impressed from the dies with a modest degree of incompleteness through the left-facing stars, neither side offers much in terms of distracting abrasions, although a minor scuff is in the field above the date to star 13. Endowed with a satiny to brilliant sheen of luster, and a coin seemingly headed for a type collection. (PCGS 6131)
