1912 25C MS66 PCGS
1912 25C MS66 PCGS
CAC Sticker. This richly original Gem is awash in mottled olive-copper, sandy-gray and, at the left obverse and reverse borders, brighter crimson-russet colors. The strike is a bit soft in isolated areas, a feature seen quite often in late date Barber quarters even from the Philadelphia Mint, but the outward appearance is appreciably sharp. There are no distracting abrasions, and softly frosted luster presents as vibrant as the coin rotates under a light. Conditionally rare for an issue that is seldom offered any finer than MS65. Population: 17 in 66; just two are finer. (PCGS 5662)
